I'm looking for a graphics card that will be both strong enough to push through high-resolution, maxed settings video gaming, as well as stay roughly around (preferably under) $500.
Thanks !|||For $500 you can get a GTX480, 5870, 5970, GTX470, GTX465, GTX460, 5850, 5830|||You need more then a high end video card to play games at max settings. It also depends on your CPU and ram. Don't expect to play on max settings unless you have a 4 or more core processor. Also remember the higher end graphic cards demand more power and might require you to upgrade your power supply. Radeon HD 5870 (5970 is more then $500 but better) or GeForce GTX 480. Both are right around $500|||the 5850 would be perfect!!
