Can any games be played with an ATI Fire GL2 Video Accelerator Graphics card?

I've tried Sims 2 and Mall/Prison Tycoon and I can't get the things to actually load and they're all having problems with the damn video card, is anything made to run with it? Is it even DX9.0c compatible? What the hell is wrong with this stupid computer?|||That isn't suited for games. It is made for Open GL applications such as Lightwave, AutoCAD, etc. (mainly older versions since the card has 64 MB of RAM).

You need to get a mainstream graphics card such as an ATI or nVidia. Check out Best Buy and the service guy will point you to a cheap card to get the games playing. You don't need the most powerful card to play those games.

I'd get anything in the $50 range.|||You can try Quake 1 (gl version, of course)

Sometimes a problem can be fixed by downloading the latest drivers from ATI's website.|||That's an AGP 4x card...that's your problem, it's about 8 times slower than the slowest modern cards
