How to tell if you can upgrade a video card for a laptop?

Title says it all. Got a new laptop for Xmas its a Inspiron N5030. i would like a decent graphics card in order to play games.|||You can't upgrade video cards on laptops because laptops do not have video cards. the video is built into the motherboard.



Laptops are not good for high end games, they overheat.|||Some late model laptops DO INDEED have replaceable and upgradable video cards, but yours does not. You should familiarize yourself with your model's service manual, which you can acess here:
