Will an after market video card fix my pavilion 515n?

my pc ( pavilion 515n ) was in Storage for about 6 months, now I can't get any thing on the monitor. I have connected 3 different monitors using 2 different cables. The video card must be shot, I think. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks|||It may but there is no guarantee.
