How do u install a video card for a pc? do i need a professional to do it?

i have to get a new video card on my pc to play sims3 so i want to know how to get it in my pc? where is it located. i need help cause i have no idea how to do any of that kinda stuff.|||you shouldnt need a professional to do it... your video card is where your moniter plugs in... open up your pc.. take old one out put new one in.... becareful though... i think there are 1-2 screws holding it in... also know your specs for new video card then open up properties when computer powers on and make sure everything is right on it...|||if you don't have a clue, then it is best you get a pro to do it/...

If you buy the card at a retailer like Mcrocenter, or Best Buy, then they can do it over the counter for you...

I can try to help, but you gave no details on the card you want, or the machine you are trying to install it in... so it's kinda like diagnosing chest pains by mail.|||Well first you need to determine what kind of card your motherboard supports. PCI-E or AGP. You know what...you're better off taking to Best Buy. Or if you have a friend that knows that stuff use him/her. Best Buy is a rip off.|||Visit the websites below for detailed guides
