Alrighty. I bought a new video card from somoone off ebay.
My computer recognizes it, and shows display on the monitor until the log in screen. Then the video goes out, but i can still hear the sound. Also, it boots up in safe mode, but the driver won't install in safe mode.|||This is usualy caused by the intergrated video adapter (Basicly graphics card that came with the comp u bought) not being removed or disabled before installing the new video card, so you have to disable that before youll be able to see your desktop :P happened to me with my 8800gt i just got today lol|||Hi, Try first to uninstall the old video card driver in safe mode, then reboot to normal mode. install the new driver.
